My name is Valentin Astier, photographer and videographer, based in Brussels. I travel to Lille, Paris, and more broadly throughout Belgium, France and Europe.
For fifteen years, I worked in visual effects for cinema — an experience that shaped my way of reading light, framing, and a moment, and which allows me today to master each image from beginning to end, from shooting to color grading.
Since 2020, I have been using this eye to serve weddings, institutions and brands, while continuing my personal projects.
A gaze
Weddings, institutional events, brands: this same perspective is now applied to different fields.
In parallel, my personal projects have taken shape over the years — a Fisheye Magazine selection in 2021, a first publication in 2023, then exhibitions — Ghedeist and Early Departure in 2025, Wanderings and I brought you silence in 2026.
