I Brought You Silence is a photographic series born from my wanderings in Brussels. The project captures fragments of everyday life and anonymous presences that make up the city's ordinary rhythms. Far from its iconic representations, these images reveal a quieter, more intimate dimension of Brussels. Through subtle traces of time, the series invites each viewer to recognize a part of their own Brussels.

The series envisions the city as a living organism shaped by its inhabitants. Daily gestures, habits, and ways of appropriating space constitute a collective memory that transcends generations. By revealing the continuity between past and present, the series suggests that the Brussels of tomorrow can emerge from this wealth of experiences and identities. It reminds us that every projection into the future is rooted in a lived and shared history.
